Billing, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It describes the subscription you select at checkout. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority over a no-refund term.
1. Prices and automatic renewal
Basic, Pro and Ultra are offered on monthly and annual billing schedules. Checkout shows the currency, total charge, applicable taxes, billing interval and any promotion before confirmation. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront for the year; a monthly equivalent is not a monthly payment option.
You authorize recurring charges for your selected subscription until you cancel. The first paid charge is due at purchase or at the end of an eligible trial. Renewals use the agreed billing interval. Your invoices and next billing information are available through Billing → Manage billing. Word allowances reset on their separate rolling 30-day schedule and do not represent the billing period.
2. Seven-day Basic trial
A seven-day Basic trial is available only when offered at checkout and only to eligible customers. A card is required. Cancel before the displayed trial end to avoid the first subscription charge. Without cancellation, the trial converts to the Basic monthly or annual subscription you selected, at the amount shown at checkout.
Eligibility is limited using prior Stripe customer/subscription history and a mailbox-based trial claim, including equivalent email aliases. Deleting and recreating an account does not create a new entitlement. A trial-ending reminder may be sent, but you can always check the trial end in Billing and should not rely on email delivery. Changing a subscription during the trial may end it immediately and cause a charge; review the billing confirmation before proceeding.
3. Cancel a subscription
Open account settings → Billing → Manage billing, select cancellation and confirm. Check the resulting end date. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and leaves access through the displayed paid period or trial end. Simply closing a browser or stopping use does not cancel.
If you cannot sign in or use the billing portal, email hello@blury.ai with “Cancel subscription,” your account email and enough information to identify the subscription. Do not include a full card number. We will assist and correct a renewal charge caused by our failure to act on a clear, timely cancellation request.
Account deletion separately queues cancellation and permanent erasure. It blocks new sign-ins and checkout while the workflow completes and can end access before the paid period ends. It does not automatically create a discretionary refund, but statutory refund rights remain. Cancel renewal without deleting the account if you wish to retain access and saved content for the rest of your period.
4. Plan changes and payment problems
The billing portal shows the price adjustment and effective date before a plan change is confirmed. Upgrades may take effect immediately with a prorated invoice. Reductions in price or a change to a shorter billing interval are generally scheduled for period end. A plan change during a trial can end the trial. Storage and usage limits follow the effective plan; a downgrade can prevent new saves that exceed its limits.
We provide the advance notice and consent required by law before renewal price changes. Failed payments may be retried and paid access may be restricted. Contact us about duplicate, unauthorized or incorrect charges. You do not have to waive your bank’s dispute process or contact us first to exercise a statutory remedy.
